1. BERT Algorithm Update
On 25 October 2019 Google launched a new ranking algorithm in the United States for the English language called BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers). At the time of its launch, it was being applied only in 10% of its total searches, but now Google is using BERT for every English search, and not just in the United States but for every country.
Apart from English language, BERT is now being used in dozens of other languages, but it is being used the most in these 6 languages - Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, German and Amharic.
BERT means Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers is a language processing model that helps Google to understand the meaning of any particular word or phrase by analyzing the words used before or behind to that particular word.
2. New did you mean Misspell checker update

Now the news is, Google has launched its advance spelling algorithm since November 2020. It will use 680 million parameters to find mistakes in the web site’s content, In that capacity, it will also be able to catch such spelling mistakes that look good normally.
For example; ‘I am eating stone’ in this sentence there are no spelling mistakes but the sentence is incorrect because no one can eat stones, so the right word would be ‘cone’. So, This kind of advance spelling algorithm has been launched by November 2020, which will be seen in the coming days.
3. Paragraph Indexing Update
Google can now not only rank your articles but also the paragraphs inside it.
If the searched keyword exactly matches with any paragraph of your article, then Google will rank that paragraph in search results.
Even if the entire article is useless but being having an exactly matched paragraph, it will rank on Google.
This new paragraph ranking system will work on only in the 7% of the total searches from November 2020 as a beta stage.
4. Launching New Style Engine Technology
Apart from General SEO, Google is also making major changes in e-commerce SEO. From now, you can long-press on any photo in Google app or Chrome Browser app to find a similar product or similar images available on the internet.
